Allegation National Review’s April 2020 essay “Explosive Revelations in the Flynn Case” reported Sidney Powell’s contention that Mueller prosecutors — “she specifically cites Brandon Van Grack, who now runs Justice’s FARA unit” — promised Flynn they would not charge his son if he pleaded guilty, and that the promise was to be kept off the written plea so the court and the public would not see it. A related National Review news item summarized a Flynn filing on a “secret” deal with former counsel.

That is Powell’s allegation about a side understanding. This site has no independent recording of Van Grack making that promise. A defense brief is not a finding that he hid a deal from Judge Sullivan. If a reader wants the claim, they can open National Review and the docket. They will not find a Van Grack conviction for it here, because none was located.
